A disabled Army veteran is struggling to feed himself during the Coronavirus crisis. He served his country honorably, assigned to Fort Benning, 1965-68. He lost his wife at the end of last year. This had a severe impact on his well-being, and since her passing he's struggled to manage. Now, with additional financial burdens and severe health concerns, he's asked us for emergency food assistance.
Due to health concerns, he cannot be close to anyone but medical personnel and must take expensive daily medication. Extreme safety precautions are necessary in this food delivery. "I have no money in the bank and just need a little help," he tells Last Patrol. "Once this passes I will do the best I can on my own."
