Dimes for Dementia is a effort to help families in the community navigate the journey of dementia by providing education and support for those challenged with this disease. Our program The Quilted Village program is on target to raise $20,000 to assist in providing community health workers the necessary tools to assist with physician care coordination, memory screening, family education and client support.
Within the United States, there are at least 5 million people currently living with age-related dementias. As the population increases, these numbers are expected to rise.
Unfortunately the African American is at a greater risk to develope this disease.
We need YOUR support to reduce these numbers. The Quilted Village program provides early detection and healthy lifestyle changes to help in making life easier for each person effected. Please give today! You can also place a regular monthly donation which will help even more in making this goal a reality.
