I am the founder of Allied Cultures. I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon and am of Armenian descent. I live in California and have spent the last two months watching my countries of Lebanon and Armenia be ravaged with a dangerous explosion and war, respectively.
Earlier this year, Allied Cultures has launched efforts to provide dignity kits and disaster relief efforts via supplies and in-kind donations. I myself have pledged $1,000 towards this effort. We are looking to receive donations to purchase supplies for dignity kits we are preparing to send to both countries. We have people and contacts in each country who will receive and distribute the supplies to those in need.
Please consider donating what you would have spent on Halloween candy this year towards this cause. Allied Cultures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with an all-volunteer team. 100% of the proceeds go to our programs.
If you cannot donate funds for us to purchase the supplies for the kits, but would like to help, please see below for a list of the small, travel size supplies we are in need of for each kit:
Body Wash or Soap
Travel-size first aid package
We accept local drop-offs and can do pickups as well!
Note: This program will be expanded in 2021 to include other countries facing assistance needs with medical and health supplies as part of our international response efforts.
We thank you in advance!
