Ms. Chidid’s leadership students at Dickinsfeild Junior High are holding a We Walk for Water campaign.
We will be raising money to help developing countries obtain access to clean water. For every $25 raised provides a person with access to clean water for the rest of their lives!
Did you know...
- Some people spend almost 5 hours a day collecting water for their family? This burnden often falls on the women and children, which often leads to less time for school, learning how to read, learning to write, earning a living or taking care of their family.
- Over 840 MILLION people worldwide are living without access to safe drinking water.
- 2. 4 BILLION people do not have access to basic sanitation services like toilets or latrines.

Be part of an incredible story of change.
Clean water isn’t a luxury, it’s a basic human right. One that millions of people around the world still don’t have access to. Improving access to clean water is one of the most crucial, quickest and easiest ways to lift a community out of poverty. It reduces illness, allows girls to go to school, leads to better agriculture and access to food, and opens the door to income-generating opportunities for families.
Since the creation of WE’s Water Pillar of Impact, we’ve given more than one million people improved access to clean water, health care and sanitation. We’ve seen communities lift themselves out of poverty and begin building a brighter future for themselves and their families. Let’s keep building on this tidal wave of good, ensuring more and more people gain access to clean water. Join us in changing the life of a child, a mother, a father, the lives of a whole community: turn clean water ON.
