Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
Marian Yna is a 17-year-old girl who lives in Manila, Philippines. She has post-infectious hydrocephalus (with a VP shunt), is visually impaired, has global developmental delay, epilepsy and skin eczema. She relies on her family to meet all of her needs.
Her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and has been unable to work since 2016. Her father is a security guard and works almost every day to support his family.
During Covid-19, Marian Yna and her family need help now more than ever. They are struggling to afford vitamins, creams, and diapers for her. Her mother reached out to us for help for her daughter.
Can you help us provide comfort to Marian Yna?
