The Maker's Place is a nonprofit diaper bank and family resource center in Trenton, New Jersey. We distribute free diapers and other essential items for families with children through our "Diaper Depot."
Families are struggling to afford diapers and wipes. 90% of the families we work with have lost income or employment due to COVID-19, and 85% have had to choose between buying diapers and buying food or other essentials for their children. You can help make sure no parent has to make that choice.
Give to the Maker's Place "Diaper Depot" and help us keep children safe, healthy, and dry! Your donations will be used to purchase diapers and keep our Diaper Depot strong. $20 can keep a child in diapers for two weeks!
Throughout the pandemic, we've been out in the community, responding to basic needs and working with local partners. We now have five grab-and-go locations in the city of Trenton, and are on track to distribute 100,000 diapers a year.
The Maker’s Place is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and a United Methodist Hope Center. We serve people of all faiths and none. Our past and present partners include the Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton University Hospital, Children's Futures, the Capital Area YMCA, and the City of Trenton.
