Help us support families in need of diapers during this pandemic.
With the health and well-being of women and children at the forefront of our mission, the Junior League of Riverside decided to develop the first Inland Empire Diaper Bank. We currently provide regular supplies of diapers to five community partners that provide services to low income families. Junior League hosts a monthly community distribution open to anyone in the Inland Empire needing assistance keeping their child clean, dry and healthy. Through community outreach, the number of families served grows every month. But one in three American families experiences diaper need, and no state or federal child safety-net program allocates dollars specifically for the purchase of diapers. Our goal is to assist each family that asks for our services, but the number of inquiries we are receiving has significantly increased during the COVID-19 crisis.
We have seen a 300% increase in request for diapers during this crisis. Please help us help those in our community struggling to keep their child clean, dry and healthy.
