I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in December 1995. After my surgery the doctors told my family that I had 6 months to live. It will be 24 years this December. I decided I had cancer it didn’t have me and after 6 months of Chemo I beat it. Then in 2005 I was diagnosed with 2 types of cancer in my right breast. I had to have a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. I was on tamoxifen for 5 years but no Chemo or radiation. Thank God! I enjoy life to the fullest. I never stay home. Always on the go. Every day is a gift. I have a wonderful and loving family and lots of friends. I have 5 beautiful and healthy grandchildren who I adore. This will be my 1st Bras for a cause event. I’m so excited to be a part of it.
