Recovering after nearly losing my life to cancer was my own personal Everest I had to overcome. Now I get the chance to see Mt. Everest in person as a team of 14 of my DHL coworkers all with their own personal ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ stories. This is in support of our colleague Roland Thomas who will summit Everest in the weeks following our trek to basecamp. Below is a message from Roland. Please join us as we raise money for a Direct Relief and help us achieve our goal!

At DHL Express, we strive to be the fastest, most reliable, and most customer-centric. In fact, we go as far to say that there Ain’t No Mountain High Enough for us. Now the world’s highest mountain has an altitude of 8,848 meters and there’s one colleague who plans to take a DHL flag all the way to the summit of this Himalayan giant. Roland Thomas has a lifelong passion for mountaineering and in April 2019 will embark on his Everest Quest in DHL’s 50th anniversary year!
Joining Roland at the same time are 14 colleagues selected from around the world who together will be taking on their own Basecamp Quest to an altitude of 5,300 meters.
