Join the Delaware Tech community as we celebrate our military community by supporting 22in22 during September, Suicide Prevention Month. During the month of September, and into October, we will be hosting the following events to help you get your 22 miles in!

How can I get started?

Simply hit the donate button and join the Delaware Tech team to make your donation. Then, start to walk, run, bike, swim, or advocate for our warriors and their struggles for 22 days.

Patriot Day Run

Tuesday, September 11

The College president, surrounded by Veterans, first responders, and students & faculty who strongly support student Veterans and commemorating 9/11 will run from the Stanton Campus to the George Campus starting at 8:46 a.m., the time Flight 11 crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center.  Runners will arrive at the George Campus at approximately 10:28 a.m., the time the north tower fell. There will be a remembrance ceremony at the George Campus after the run.  Veterans will be wearing the 22in22 t-shirts.  

Hero Challenges

Tuesday, September 11- Tuesday, October 2

All four Delaware Tech Campuses will begin 22 days of physical activity to bring awareness and support to stopping Veteran suicide. Participants will complete a variety of physical activities called Hero Challenges – which commemorate the 19 Delawareans who served in the military and have lost their lives since 9/11 to today in the War on Terrorism.
