We lost Rick to esophageal cancer in late January 2018. He was 65 and ready to retire, ready to get better at golf (at least play more), ready to enjoy all he had worked so hard for. Anne and I want to honor his life, his sense or humor (hence the title of this venture), and his commitment to always being there for others.
To raise money for esophageal cancer research I will be running the Maine Coast 1/2 marathon this coming May.
Once we reach a thousand dollars in donations we will randomly draw a name of a donor and name our next beer after that person. If you are local, we will have you over to drink your namesake. If we reach 5,000 dollars and at least 30 different donors, I will do this again next year, only it will be the marathon.
Thanks for your considerations.
Brian and Anne
