Dance with your Heart 2018
Jeremy and Desiree' Mainous started Dance with your Heart in the efforts to help give back by combining their profession (teaching dance) with their want to help their community in as big a way as possible. They recognized the need for an organization such as this after 10 years of producing and directing charity dance events that helped raise over a million dollars collectively, for groups such as The Cincinnati Arts Association, Home Builders Association of Cincinnati, Jewish Family Services of Greater Cincinnati, Susan B. Komen Foundation, Cancer Support Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, Warren County Community Service and Children's Law Center.
Dance with your Heart hosts a friendly local Dancing With the Stars type dance competition/gala as their flagship annual event. This event is quickly becoming one of the most popular and sought-after Greater Cincinnati charity events and with your help it will just keep growing and getting better. In the past 5 years alone Dance with your Heart has raised over $250,000 for more than 40 different causes both local and with national notability. Examples of some of these charitable causes are the Northern Ky. Children’s Advocacy Center, Rescued and Ready, Off the Streets, The Marvin Lewis Community Fund, Upspring, Cincinnati Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, St. Vincent DePaul, the Cincinnati Zoo, Karen Wellington Foundation, University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute, Success by Six, Q-Kidz, Building Blocks for Kids, Artswave and many more.
This year there are 9 charities that will be receiving our help and fundraising assistance. Charities like the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League, the Northern Kentucky Children's Advocacy Center, the Karen Wellington Foundation, Neediest Kids of All, Cincinnati Community Toolbank, Lincoln Heights Boy Scout Troup 772 High Adventure Scholarship Fund, Accounting for Kids, Adopt a Class and Economics Center. Your donation will not only help all these cause but many more to come as you help Dance with your Heart continue to provide this platform for years to come!
As experienced through teaching others and from their own lives, Jeremy and Desiree' know the powerful and awesome change that dance can have in people's lives. They saw an opportunity to provide a non-profit platform for local celebrities to experience and use dance in a way to help raise money and awareness for causes near and dear to their hearts!
Our Mission Statement: To inspire and empower people to dance with their heart and dream with their feet.
