Center Valley Animal Rescue is raising funds this Giving Tuesday!
As we all adjust to life amidst a global pandemic, pet companionship means more than ever. Since sheltering in place began, CVAR has adopted out a record number of animals to loving forever homes.
With this run on adoptions, our staff has been working overtime to review applications, work with adopters one on one at a social distance, care for new waves of animals being taken in from neighboring counties and maintain a sterilized environment to keep staff and volunteers safe and healthy.
With folks staying home and be in touch with their surroundings, we have also had a record intake of injured wildlife babies for this time of year. At the moment, 25 babies ranging from bunnies to raccoons, are being cared for around the clock with feedings every two hours and individual medical care.
Please help us continue the integral work of caring for abandoned and injured animals, through financial contributions (*including stocks and securities), volunteer hours & animal care supplies.
CVAR is committed to providing safe harbor and rehabilitation for unwanted, injured or abandoned domesticated and wild animals, thereby decreasing the number of unnecessary euthanasias performed. We believe all creatures have inherent value, a right to life, and are entitled to have their basic needs met in a kind and caring manner. Center Valley Animal Rescue is dedicated to finding loving homes for all adoptable animals in our care. We offer permanent sanctuary to the domestic animals that cannot be adopted and the rehabilitation and release of wild animals.
