As we approach this years Epilepsy 5K Run/Walk, I thought I would give an update on Hunter. His VNS (pace maker for epileptic patients) has been doing an amazing job, along with his seizure medications to control his seizures. He has been seizure free for a year and 8 months. He has come a long way and has been through a lot, but has always kept a smile on his face along with a positive attitude. He will graduate high school June 2nd and will attend the St. Charles Community College this fall. Without medical technology constantly improving Hunter would not be at the place he is. Please, if you can donate to his team or even better join our team for a fun filled day at the annual Epilepsy 5K in Kirkwood, Missouri June 23rd.
