Daily Chapel is at the heart of the Concordia University Ann Arbor experience. Every day (Monday – Friday) during the traditional academic year, students, staff, and faculty have the opportunity to gather in worship that is Christ-centered, engaging, and participatory. Daily Chapel attendance is not required of anyone on campus; however, everyone is encouraged to participate. Classes conclude prior to Chapel and do not begin again until after Chapel.
Over the past two years, daily Chapel attendance has doubled. However, the current Bibles in the pews at CUAA are a translation we do not regularly use. For this reason, they simply remain in the pews. Our desire is to provide students with English Standard Version (ESV) pew Bibles, so that those preaching can encourage students to dig into the Scripture with them as they preach. The current Bibles in the Chapel will be donated to an organization that can more easily use them. Any gifts beyond what is needed for the Bible project will be used to support student mission trips.
