As you may know, I am an active member of the Junior League of Phoenix, part of the Association of Junior League which is located in 4 countries and there are approximately 300 leagues here in the U.S. Each chapter of Junior League has their own focus areas that they vote to work toward regarding making a lasting impact in their direct community to give back.
LBDI is our advocacy campaign against limits in our community’s health. For one week, October 1 – October 5, our members will stand united in defiance of these limits. By limiting themselves to the same little black dress for five consecutive days, our members will illustrate the limits our sisters, our mothers, and our children face in Arizona and how the Junior League of Phoenix’s programs improve the fabric of our community.
Let’s make health limits unfashionable. Because together, our potential is limitless.
Please help me raise funds for awareness for health care issues in the greater Phoenix area. For the week of October 1-5, I will be wearing the same black dress, 5 days in a row to raise awareness for those that do not have a safe place to sleep at night, food on the dinner table, and clean clothing to wear each day. Help me support my community by donating here.
