My name is Justin Koch, I am 15 and live in Mount Laurel. When I was in the 3rd grade, shortly after completing our community service unit, my teacher Ms. Tracy Newhart was diagnosed with cancer. I did not know at the time how this would affect me and the people around me but it did. Ms. Newhart was a friend to everyone and even in her hardest times, she always found a way to try and improve others day. This is what influenced me to start the run. After that, both family and family friends were diagnosed with cancer which gave me a reason to continue the run and make a difference. Now, more and more people are affected by this disease and you can help put a stop to it!
Proceeds will benefit a Hillside Elementary student undergoing treatment for cancer, Throw Cancer a CurveBall and the American Cancer Society.
Thank you for your support,
