Crossroads Mission Care - Serving those who serve.
Crossroads Farm, a retreat and refuge for first responders, missionaries, military members/families, and pastors. It is currently being built and developed on a 45 acre property in Tennessee. Phase One, the housing for mission staff and ministry headquraters has been 85% completed. We are looking forward to starting Phase Two, a bunkhouse and meeting structure renovated from an existing stock barn. This fundraising campaign will raise funds for the infrastructure (water, sewage, and power) and the demolition of existing areas of the barn to build housing inside it as well as building the bunkhouses themselves. These facilities will be used for our mission demographic to house them while they heal.
Gil and Patti Carter have served as international and domestic missionaries for more than 20 years. They have specialized in serving youth and families through Young Life’s International Schools Ministry and Military Youth Ministry. The Carters have served in Singapore, Belgium, Italy, and North America. Patti is working full-time in association with Paraclete Mission Group alongside Gil to serve those who serve. In their ministry years, Gil and Patti have observed that missionaries, first responders, military families, and pastors are under tremendous stress and pressure. They are frequently isolated and exhausted. They are often in need of encouragement, care, and support and have limited access getting the assistance they need. This has led to the development of Crossroads Mission Care and the building of Crossroads Farm.
