Last Spring, Clarissa and I took Daisy and Tessa to Nicaragua to spend four amazing days rebuilding a very rural school. I know people say this all the time, but it was a life-changing experience for us. We got to see firsthand what a difference we could make by working with a local community on a school that desperately needed help.
We saw the impact we made working with local families to bring a school to life. We cleaned, repainted and rebuilt classrooms, and helped build a community center for the school.
The next step will be bringing more books to the school and creating a library.
The Organization who led trip is called OneKid OneWorld. They have done incredible work changing the lives of children in Central America and Africa for the last 12 years.
I'm writing today to ask if you would be willing to make a donation, however small, so we can continue helping this school get back on its feet and give the kids a chance for a real, meaningful education. It’s even more important now with the government crackdown going on in Nicaragua.
No donation is too small and my goal is to raise $5000 for the library and to fund construction and material costs for future projects. Please know that 93% of every dollar you donate goes directly to the project.
Your donations are all tax-deductible. Thank you again for your support.
