Crafts4Cause was founded by Roshini Saravanan & Vaishnavi Ranganathan in an effort to raise money towards aiding the children affected by the humanitarian crisis in Yemen while also educating and creatively engaging elementary level students on the various social issues present in our society today through arts & crafts. We want to emphasize the importance of diversity and inclusivity by introducing these concepts to children who are forming their views of the world and integrating these themes into our artwork.
We chose to raise awareness for this particular cause because we wanted to emphasize the importance and the gravity of the situation in this country. Yemen has been at civil war for as long as 5 years yet little is known about this situation globally. Over 24 million people, including 12.3 million children, are in desperate need of humanitarian protection and assistance and 17 million, including 3.3 million children and pregnant women, are malnourished. In addition to the ongoing war, COVID-19 has amplified the emergence of this strait and increased the need for adequate financial aid and support. To help mitigate this situation to the best of our ability, Crafts4Cause needs your help to make generous donations as well as raise awareness to help alleviate the situation in Yemen. Making donations will not only help feed the malnourished children but will also help save lives and families.
Please consider donating to this paramount cause. We appreciate your time and consideration!
