The JCC did not sit back and wait for things to happen.
Rather, during a time when so many things during the pandemic were out of the J's control, it seized every opportunity to provide its members and community members with programs and services, many at no charge. We identified, addressed and fulfilled those needs.
When the pandemic “hit” our area and our Center, the JCC immediately formed a task force to work with staff and determine how we could cut costs and remain fiscally responsible. The JCC received a PPP loan and funds from the Covid Community Campaign, which enabled the Center to continue to serve the community without major interruption. All of the actions taken by the JCC involved interaction with Local, County and State Government officials, insuring the JCC was in strict compliance with imposed sanctions, protocols and guidelines.
Our mission must continue.
The JCC's role as a social service agency is vital to our local community. As we create the JCC’s budget for the 2021 fiscal year, monies raised through this Covid Crisis Campaign will directly impact programs we develop and offer in the coming year. Additional funding received will enable the JCC to continue to carry out our mission and our role as a vital social service agency providing programming and services to our local community.
The “Yes we can” approach is one we will always abide by, and we thank the community for understanding our financial need and supporting us, enabling the JCC to carry out our Mission.
We have secured a $200,000 matching gift. Every gift you give will have double the impact. to help the JCC reach goal of $400,000.
