We need your help to keep supporting the 8,000 children with cancer we planned to care for this year around the world. Because of their weakened immune system, children with cancer are among the most vulnerable in the world right now to COVID-19. Now, more than ever, World Child Cancer is working tirelessly and needs your help. Due to the current crisis, we are now facing a significant shortfall in funding. We had plans to raise money through various events including a New York gala fundraiser, a LaCrosse game, and more. These events have been completely abandoned or postponed.
As a direct result of COVID-19 we urgently need to raise $200,000 to continue our life saving work. If we can’t raise this money, projects will have to be reduced or even closed.
Please help to ensure that vulnerable children with cancer all over the world continue to receive the support they desperately need in this pandemic by donating what you can today.
Here's what we're working on right now:
Shielding children with cancer from COVID-19 infection risk;
Providing families with supplies and alternative travel arrangements to avoid public transportation;
Putting measures in place to improve infection control in hospitals;
Procuring infection control supplies (PPEs) for pediatric wards.
We know it's a lot to ask right now, but please support World Child Cancer. Your community needs you now more than ever!
