Each one of us is affected by COVID-19. For some, the impact of this pandemic is felt particularly hard. Our LA Promise Fund's students are among those. Almost 80% of their families have lost ALL income due to the pandemic.
We are working double time to meet our students' needs so that they can keep learning during this time. We would love your help! We are providing our students and their families with groceries at our Food Pantry and providing grab-and-go meals. We are also equipping our students with computers so that they can keep learning from home. It's a critical time for our students, and we hope you will join us in supporting them!
We are in need of donations:
-To purchase food, water, and hygiene essentials
-To service our students’ remote learning needs with computers and Wi-Fi
-To support families who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 business closures
-$25 will buy a family a bag of groceries
-$50 will cover a family’s cell phone bill for one month
-$100 will buy a family groceries for a week
-$250 will pay for a computer and Wi-Fi until the end of the school year for a student in need
If we are able to hit our campaign goal of $64,000, our pantry, which our students and their families rely on each week, will be stocked for at least two months. It would also ensure that each of our students will have the tools and technology they need to continue learning from home until the end of the school year.
If you prefer, you can also support distance learning directly by purchasing items from our Amazon wishlist.
