Not only do healthcare professionals require additional personal protection equipment (PPE) to help them do their jobs, but others do as well. It is equally important for those less fortunate to have access to better resources that help flatten the curve so that the healthcare system is not overly inundated with more patients than it can handle during this public-health crisis.
OSL will begin diverting our research and development (R&D) resources such as our 3D printers that can operate around the clock to help print protective masks, respirators, ventilator parts, face-shield accessories and so much more.
We are ready to serve a much under-served population (such as the homeless and those enrolled in assisted living programs) with these items but we need your help to get us there. It is paramount that resources reach these people as they are also high-risk.
All donations received will be used to purchase supplies like 3D printing filaments, replacement parts and upgrades for our equipment, and shipping costs to support our volunteer network in being successful with this initiative.
