Codefy is a registered 501(c)(3) computer science education non-profit. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to launch a summer program that includes 10 coding courses, an online hackathon (coding competition), a college mentorship/research program, virtual workshops in topics like Artificial Intelligence and seminars for students interested in studying computer science in college or pursuing a STEM career. In order to support a high volume of students in our FREE summer programs, we really need your support to finance the use of platforms like Zoom.
About our organization:
Codefy = Code + Defiance. We strive to teach students from all ages, genders, races, and backgrounds, Codefy hopes to DEFY the stereotypes relating to the field of computer science, while simultaneously showing that programming is fun and done in a collaborative environment. Our team believes that the language and art of programming is knowledge to which all of us have a right to and thus, should not come at any cost. Currently, our program allows high school mentors to guide students, through free 1-on-1 and small group classes, in developing the skills to eventually be able to pursue a career in computer science if they desire. With this and it's coming initiatives, including the college mentorship program, hackathon and workshops, Codefy hopes to establish a community of leaders with the technical skills and knowledge to pave the future.
