To our MEOW friends, family, and supporters. We hope this finds you all safe and healthy during these crazy times. It saddens us to realize that our Annual July Fundraiser will have to be cancelled due to the corona virus pandemic. As many of you know, our dinner is our biggest fundraiser for the year. While many have been affected during this virus, our rescue continues to endure many expenses. Our colony cats still require food and care on a daily basis, and now we are supporting even more caregivers who can no longer afford to do so. With TNR clinics closed, kitten season will be at an all-time high. Therefore, all spay and neuter surgeries must be done at local vets at a higher cost. We are also continuing to care for sick or injured cats on a regular basis. We are asking of anyone who has not been financially burdened by this pandemic, who can find it in their hearts and wallets, to consider making a tax exempt donation to our not for profit organization. Many of us have even realized how much money we are saving by not going out, so perhaps you would consider donating a portion to our community cats in need. We all know this will pass and brighter days are coming. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon. We’re even hoping we can host a small event in the fall. In the meantime, we are hoping that you can help us continue to help the community cats in need and we pray that everyone continues to stay safe and healthy!!
