For over 50 years the American Legion Post 202 has stood tall as a prominent member of the community. With multiple layers all falling off its way past time to have our roof completely replaced.
The building is a safe place for Veterans and their families to come spend time with each other and receive the assistance they need. Post 202 is special though; it is the first Post in the state of Maine to be dedicated to a Post9/11 Veteran that grew up only a short distance to the Post. We offer scholarships to students in the local high school and even support a Boy Scout Troop and a Cub scout Troop. Lets not forget the annual Winter Softball game were we raise money for homeless Veterans here in Maine.
We do a lot but this time we desperately need your help. All monies raised with go towards replacing the roof and extra will go towards replacing our torn canopies.
With water leaking through our roof now, will you help us with any amount of a donation?
