Please make a donation to the national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Move For Hunger, to help provide meals and hope for those who are struggling during this time of great need.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on our economy and has drastically increased the need for food assistance nationwide. The demand for food is up over 70% and nearly 40% of the people visiting food banks for assistance are visiting for the very first time.
Before the pandemic hit, 37 million Americans were already facing daily hunger, and estimates say 17 million more will experience food insecurity in 2020 ~ that's 54 million people! Food banks, pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters are on the front lines, helping our most vulnerable populations every day.
While Move For Hunger's mission has always been to alleviate hunger and its accompanying impact on our health, support for those who are hungry and food insecure in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is more critical than ever.
Experts agree that the effects of the crisis are going to require a long-term response and Move For Hunger is determined to see it through, but they simply cannot do the work alone. Move For Hunger relies on people like you, to support their hunger relief and food rescue programs.

Move For Hunger is the first and only non-profit organization that has mobilized the moving, relocation, and multi-family housing industries to fight hunger and food waste by collecting unopened, non-perishable food from people who are moving and donating it to people in need. Since its inception in 2009, Move For Hunger's innovative, sustainable food-rescue programs has resulted in the recovery of more than 20 million pounds of food or the equivalent of 17 million meals.
