I wrote CITT during a long and difficult journey. At the other side of the physical journey, I can say I have been blessed in countless ways and am surrounded by people that care for me. In addition to sharing this and a few other stories with the world, my goal now is to use this opportunity and my continued efforts to help others. Supporting Native American communities is a universally important mission that requires no justification, though I can honestly say it's something I have always desired to be a part of, and that it is inextricable from the experiences of CITT, in a way that I might not be able to explain but that I hope might be glimpsed from reading it.
I'm donating any profits from CITT sales to the First Nations Development Institute. If you'd like to make an additional direct impact to the charity, you can donate here. Thanks for reading!
