Hi friends & family!
On March 15th, I will be running the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon with my coworker Lauren on behalf of her youngest cousin, Sofia, and the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation. This will be my first time running with Team CdLS and it's a privilege to be able to run on behalf of such an extraordinary organization. Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) is a genetic disorder present from birth that causes a range of physical, cognitive and medical challenges. The CdLS Foundation is a family support organization which exists to ensure the early and accurate diagnosis of CdLS, promote research into the causes and manifestation of CdLS, and help people with the diagnosis of CdLS to make informed decisions throughout their life.
By running with Team CdLS, I have been given the opportunity to support an organization that has helped to support Sofia and so many others diagnosed with CdLS. There is no cure, but by donating you are strengthening the CdLS Foundation's ability to continue to provide vital programs, support and services to individuals with CdLS and their families.
Thank you so much!
