I’m holding a donation class at CorePower Yoga to support Soccer Without Borders (SWB), an incredible non-profit serving refugee and immigrant youth in Baltimore and Prince George’s County.
Soccer Without Borders provides a safe place and a welcoming community for kids who have had experiences most of us would struggle to imagine and could never fully understand. Through soccer, SWB unites kids from 44 different countries who speak many different languages. Soccer Without Borders supports these youth not only by providing a place to have fun and play soccer, but also with academic help, leadership and job opportunities, mentorship, and a safe place to learn English. Most importantly, Soccer Without Borders means family for many of these kids.
We’ll be sweating for change at a yoga sculpt class at CorePower’s Brewers Hill location on August 10th at 5:45 pm. To help raise much-needed funds for this amazing organization, I’m partnering with Positive Tracks, an organization that helps young people be active to support a cause they’re passionate about, and they will double the dollars we raise for Soccer Without Borders, up to $1,000! You don’t need to be a yoga guru to support Soccer Without Borders and get your donation doubled! Each donation made here to support this event will also be doubled.
Please support the great work done by Soccer Without Borders right here in Maryland by donating today.
