On October 7th, I will be running the 2018 Chicago Marathon with Team Imerman Angels. Imerman Angels provides free one-on-one support for current cancer fighters or caregivers by matching them with a survivor who had the same type of cancer. These one-on-one relationships give a cancer fighter or caregiver the chance to ask personal questions and get support from someone who has been there before. Imerman's mission is that no one fights cancer alone. I am running for my relatives and friends affected by cancer. You more than likely know someone who has been diagnosed with or lost a battle with cancer. While researchers have made great strides in medical treatments for the disease, it still will affect nearly all of us in one way or another during our lifetime. No one should have to go through this alone. For this race, I am setting a fundraising goal of $1,200. This money would go to supporting at least THREE future fighter/survivor connections. Anything you can provide helps! Thank you so much for your support and backing of Imerman Angels. Please see the video above for more information on Imerman Angels.
