About Safe House Project

Safe House Project | Serving & Empowering Survivors of Sex Trafficking

Who We Are:
Safe House Project is a  national leader supporting survivors of sex trafficking in America by  accelerating safe house networks and ensuring restorative healing and  empowerment. Our vision is to see communities across America unite to  end domestic sex trafficking and restore hope, freedom, and a future for  every survivor.

A Glimpse at the Problem:

Hundreds of thousands of people are sex trafficked each year in the United States.

300,000 American children are  sex trafficked each year (commercial sexual exploitation of children  includes prostitution & pornography)

1% of these victims are identified each year

There are 1,044 beds for survivors of sex trafficking, and less than 100 beds are for child sex trafficking survivors.

Without a safe place to go, 80% of victims end up back in their trafficker’s hands

Focused Impact:
There is a lot of work to be done to eradicate sex trafficking in America.
We focus on 4 impact areas that we believe address the deepest need to serve and empower survivors--safe houses.

Accelerate Domestic Shelter Capacity - “The #1 Need” - The Survivors’ Voice

Grow National Network of Shelter Resources - A National Pipeline Creating Local Impact

Empower a Survivor’s Path to Freedom - Enabling Purpose and Independence

Advance Domestic Trafficking Prevention & Education - Education that inspires Action

"Treatment  came into my life when I didn’t want my life anymore. I had no one,  nothing. I was hopeless, helpless, and alone. I needed something only  treatment could give me: people who understood me and refused to let me  forget my worth. It was all the love and support I didn’t know I  needed." - Survivor Hope Doe

*CORE Creatives is a committed community of women dedicated to cultivating the dreams, passions and purposes of ourselves and each other.

We come together in authentic open creative spaces in order to enhance the calls over our individual and collective lives. We know the ripple effect we have as a whole connected group is far greater than our individual splash.

In the spirit of empowment, we are coming alongside Safe House Project to support their vision of uniting  communities to end domestic sex trafficking and restore hope, freedom, and a future to every survivor.

We greatly appreciate your support of Core Creative and Safe House Project.
