In early October, a new wave of ethnic cleansing and attacks on Kurdish and Syrian civilians, who served as the United States' primary ally against ISIS on the ground, began in Rojava (Northern Syria). Some 300,000 Kurds, Syrians, and other religous and ethnic minorities have been forced from their homes and ancestral homelands at the start of winter. Food, water, healthcare and suppies, and warmth are scarce. If you are unable to attend the night of solidarity and fundraising in Anchorage on December 5th, please consider donating to the Free Burma Rangers, who are providing front line medical and humanitarian relief. The Free Burma Rangers are a reliable organization providing relief right now. Thank you!
