Dear Community Members,
My name is Audrey Larson, and I'm an inventor. I've participated in Invention Convention half a dozen times, and have two patents as a result. I'm a rising Freshman at UConn's School of Engineering and Student Board Representative at the CIC.
We need your help to help develop distance-learning and new programs.
Who We Are
The CIC is a 501c(3) non-profit. Despite the challenges of the past year, we've reached more than 6,000 K-12 students since January with our programs.
-More than 56% of our inventors have self-identified as female
-More than 36% of our inventors have self-identified as students of color
-More than 19% of our inventors are multi-lingual
-More than 33% of inventors come from below-median-income areas
Will You Help Us?
All funds raised through this project will support the following programs, all of which will focus in particular on urban and underserved school districts.
- Develop future, free Invention Convention Summer Programs
- Support free virtual programs like our Virtual Inventors Club
- Distribute our free innovation-focused Invention Convention training series
Thank you to all who have already supported us. In June, I will officially roll off as a Student Board Representative. Our supporters, students, educators, and friends have made this one of the greatest experiences of my life.
