A USCC state partner that provides relief to survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse needs your help! The impact of the COVID-19 health crisis on emergency shelter programs and other support services to victims of crime has been significant. Emergency shelter programs, available 24/7, have significant challenges in the best of situations dealing with congregate living, small spaces, the impact of trauma on adults and children residing in shelters, alcohol and drug dependency of many residents, and a lack of adequate long-term safe housing options.
Help us raise funds to supply students living in shelters with laptop computers and tablets to ensure they can receive an education this academic year -- every dollar will go directly to purchasing these critical educational tools. Thank you for your support.
$250 provides a Chromebook to unlock education for a student.
$110 provides an Amazon Fire Tablet to a student to help them keep up with coursework.
Any amount is deeply appreciated.
