Project Overview
The Memphis Islamic Center project has now entered the home stretch and we need your support to be able to move into the building in 2019. We need to raise $250,000 to pay for equipment and technical help to install the safety, security, audio visual and IT systems that will enable us to continue to promote authentic islamic message to a global audience under the exceptional scholarly leadership of Shaykh Yasir Qadhi. Your donation will help pay for key items such as audio visual recording and broadcasting equipment, computer networking/data management system, security cameras, fire/smoke alarms as well as tornado shelter equipment.
As mentioned by Sh Yasir, this is a perfect sadaqa jariya with compounded reward, especially in these last 10 days of Ramadan. We invite you to share in the reward of promoting islamic knowledge to a global audience.

Project Details
This particular component of the MIC project is essential for our ability to reach to every human (Muslim or not) through the power of modern communication media. Therefore it goes beyond simple security cameras and recording equipment. In addition, projected cost, while significant, is less than 3% of total project budget. Below are high level estimate by item.
Safety and Security:
Security System Equipment: $25K Security System Installation & wiring: $25K
This will pay for: security cameras fire/smoke alarms, tornado shelter equipment, computer and IT System installation and operation
Delivering Knowledge:
Audio System Equipment: $35K Audio System Installation & wiring 35K
Included components are: amplifiers and recording internet/ audio broadcasting, speakers and mics, class rooms audio-visuals covering 40,000 sq ft space, installation labor/consulting costs.
Sharing Light of Guidance Globally:
Visual System Equipment: $85K Visual System Installation & Wiring: $45K
Included components are: wiring costs, video cameras, video mixers, lighting rquipment, screens and monitors, broadcast quipment, (state-of-the art for global audience) as well as installation labor
