The Hoapili Baker Foundation is a royal, non-profit organization from Hawai'i, and the philanthropic arm of the Royal House of Hawai'i – Ka Hale Ali'i O Kamakahelei. Our fundraising encompasses project development and other worthy causes for the Native Hawaiian community and abroad, including the maintenance of historical and cultural landmarks and monuments in Hawai'i, such as the I'olani Palace, the only royal palace and the first building equipped with electricity in the United States. Other historic sites include the Hulihe'e Palace, in Kailua-Kona, on Hawaii Island and the Queen Emma Summer Palace in Nu'uanu, O'ahu, among others.
The Hoapili Baker Foundation desires to accomplish pre-eminent charitable acts and advance the holistic and educational development of the Hawaiian people and endeavor to encourage the conservation and revitalization of the Hawaiian culture, language, and educational business opportunities in Hawaii and abroad.
Furthering an Ali'i Legacy of impact on Native Hawaiian conditions.
Addressing the need for housing for Native Hawaiians is of paramount importance.
The Hoapili Baker Foundation will endeavor to implement small-home technology infrastructure to house Native Hawaiians, including Native Hawaiian families who have been on the waiting list for Hawaiian Homestead ventures.
Legal Representation for Native Hawaiians.
It is our long term goal to acquire additional U.S. legal representation to work on behalf of The Hoapili Baker Foundation to afford Native Hawaiians the opportunity of consultation or pro bono legal representation to which they may not have access, for the purposes of addressing business or personal concerns.
Mālama O Ke Kai – Caring for our Ocean.
