We are inviting you to partner with us to empowe positive change in the lives of many Mercer County, and to improve the health of our community. The mission of Community Counseling Center is to help individuals and families live healthy and fulfulling lives. Please join us in our mission by contributing to our Year End Appeal and by encouraging someone you know who would benefit from one of our services described at www.cccmer.org.
Mercer County residents struggle with significant physical, behavioral health and drug and alcohol challenges. Over 24% of childen live in poverty. Overall, Mercer County ranks 53 out of 67 PA counties in overall health outcomes, and 54th in length of life. Drug overdose mortality (both opioid and non-opioid) have almost doubled through the COVID-19 pandemic. Suicide rates in the county have also doubled in the past year. Now, more than ever, we need your help and support to continue to provide high quality community-based services and supports.
All contributions made to Community Counseling Center stay local and are used to continue our mission. Gifts can provide supports for those in need that are not covered by our current payers or other reimbursments. Examples of how contributions can be used include:
- Christmas gifts for our residential clients who may not get one otherwise
- Training programs for our clinical staff to learn new techniques and best practices to better support those struggling with addiction or through suicide prevention
-Transportation for residential clients to get to necessary appointments
- Telehealth equipment to improve access and support virtual visits and continuity of care
Along with your gift, you will be placed into one of the following donor society levels:
Seed Planting Club - $1-99
Budding Sustainers - $100-499
Branch Builders - $500-999
Blossom Circle - $1,000-4,999
Fruit Circle - $5,000-9,000
Harvest Partners - $10,000 and above
