The Community Church of Richmond, IL was built in 1902. It's original stone foundation, country church architecture and the stunning windows are just a small sample of some of the beautiful visual comforts that draw many people to us.
Old buildings require much maintenance. We need to replace our Boiler. This boiler was installed when we had an addition built onto the back part of the church in the late 1950's or early 1960's. It's % efficiency is probably also in the 50's or 60's. The Boiler's label says National - US Radiator Corporation. National Radiator merged with US Radiator in 1955. This combined company was sold and later closed in the 1960's.
We have been told that this boiler would be expensive to repair and parts would be very difficult to obtain. We are hoping to remove the boiler and replace it with a new, high efficiency boiler as well as upgrade the valves, piping and controls. This upgrade should save us several hundred dollars per year.
Please help us to reach our Goal of $12,000.
