Help us continue our programs during this time of need.
Columbia Springs greatly values the health and well-being of our volunteers and staff, and the children and families who enjoy our programs and site. We have been closely watching the development of the COVID-19 health crisis and are doing what we can to reduce community risk. For this reason, we have made the decision to put our community events, Repair Clark County, volunteer, field trip, and Salmon in the Classroom programs on hiatus and our buildings will also be closed to the public until further notice.
Due to the recent closures, Columbia Springs will see a large decrease in revenues and sponsorships in 2020. To meet the budget needs for basic operations, we are hoping that you consider a gift.
Although our community is experiencing unprecedented times, we are excited to continue Columbia Springs’ mission to offer a unique setting and educational experiences that foster a greater awareness of the natural world and inspire stewardship. While staying safe at home, our educators have been creating educational videos to make staying at home fun for the whole family. Our education staff has created, and is continuously creating, science and nature programs that can be used during the homeschool process.
Our volunteers and staff have been extremely resourceful with creating masks for our vulnerable community members. They will continue to create innovative ways to engage our community amid this crisis.
We kindly ask that you join us in supporting our dedicated staff. With the help from community members like you, we will be able to prepare our organization to come back stronger and better than ever.
