Universities and Colleges Shutting Down Their Campuses Across the Country: Help Low-Income Students In Need NOW!
Over the last week, we have witnessed universities in America shutting down campus housing due to the CONVID-19 pandemic. Students were given a few days to pack their belongings and find an alternative place to stay.
Having gone through being homeless, Charlee Newman, Founder and Executive Director of the Rise of Broken Women, knows about the anxiety and distress this creates for an individual, as she experienced homelessness for 2 years. In New York, where housing is expensive, residential hall closures have the potential to leave students in a dire situation.
To help first-generation low-income students find alternative affordable housing - we seek your support to help raise funds for these students.
The Rise of Broken Women needs your support from $50 to $550 to ensure these students have alternative affordable housing options.
The Rise of Broken Women is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization. To learn more, visit our website or write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
