To diversify the voices, perspectives and opinions in leadership positions and government we first need to get a diverse array of students into college.
High-achieving, first-generation students often don't apply to college because they don't think they can get accepted, or they think they can't afford it. Some find the application process daunting or they have misinformation.
CAP is a small but mighty non-profit that is doing amazing work to get typically first-gen and underrepresented students into college.
CAP gives personalized support in SAT prep, college applications, and financial aid to over 1,600 middle school, high school, and college students in Pasadena Unified Schools.
I joined the board at CAP two years ago and am blown away by the tremendous work that this organization does. I hope you will join me in supporting CAP and contibuting to it's success story for Pasadena students.
This month only, the All Ways Up Foundation will match any donation you give, up to $25,000.
Please consider making a donation, no matter large or small, to help these deserving students make their way to college.
