Hi Everyone! My name is Coal.
I am a 2 year old lab-mix doggy and my humans rescued me just before my first birthday. I currently reside with them and my fur-brother, Steve the cat in San Diego, California.
I'm running for Dog of the Year because my mom, who works for LLS, told me that there are too many other doggies whose humans are affected by blood cancers. Did you know dogs can also get blood cancers? In fact, lymphoma is the most commonly diagnosed form of cancer in canines. Humans and dogs are 85% genetically identical, so when you help LLS to fund research and new treatments, you're also helping to treat doggos with cancer too. #HECKINGREAT
If named Dog of the Year, I promise to use my title for more than just belly rubs and extra snacks! I will be helping to make sure that more patients and families are served as a result of all that the Leukemia & Lymphoma society does with the dollars you can donate!!
Would you please help me by joining my team, or donating to my campaign?
