Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse. is a Chicago based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides life-long rehabilatiive services, support and mentoring to persons affected in our community by brain injury and stroke. The services and support provided from our center aid in optimizing recovery and help to attain their highest level of functioning and live productive and fulfilling lives within their community.
With a new world wide pandemic, Co-Vid-19 effecting us all severely, we were forced to close our doors on 3/16/20 to ensure the safety of our members, volunteers, students and staff. Concurrently, we are relocating to a new location in just 1 month! As a non profit, the Illinois shutdown means we have no income from the state.
This is an extremely devastating time for us all. We need you, to use this as a call to action. Despite this pandemic, we continue our mission of supporting this demographic of people in this time of need.
We are asking that you donate today, in the name of our amazing members. We need your support more than ever to keep our Clubhouse operational after the virus clears.
With these funds, our organization we able to help cover the moving costs of our new relocation as well as provide food, supplies, transportation costs and cleaning and medical supplies for our members. Many of our members are over 50 and are on fixed incomes through the state. Many will need help securing themselves with food, water, and possibly shelter due to Coronavirus. All things that can be provided with the help of donors like you.
In order to meet our fundraising goal, it will truly take a village. Please help support our cause but more importantly our members. Any amount you can contribute will make a difference—even $5.
