Paul described the Philippians’ gifts to his missionary work as “a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God” (Philippians 4:18). “Their gifts helped Paul to do his missionary work,” The Africa Study Bible states. “Sometimes we forget the risk God’s servants take when they preach the Good News of salvation.”
Climbing For Christ is blessed to send workers to many mountainous countries where others cannot or will not GO. We ask you to join us in this effort. Become part of Climbing For Christ’s Sending Team.
“When missionaries ask for finances, we may tell ourselves that God will help them,” the Africa Study Bible’s application of Philippians 4:10-20 adds. “We may think that we do not need to be God’s instruments to assist them. The Philippian believers knew they must help Paul with his mission work, so they gave willingly.”
We are looking for cheerful givers (2 Cor. 9:7). Please be helping hands so we may serve as the hands and feet of Jesus. Contribute to Climbing For Christ and join our Sending Team!
