Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society was formed for the purpose of running the Clermont County, OH animal shelter. Our aim is to follow the no-kill, open-admission model of county sheltering - thus saving 90%+ of the animals coming through our doors and welcoming all county animals that need our assistance. We will have funding from Dog License fees, but that budget has been drastically low, decreasing by more than 20% in the last three years. The canine care expenses and the shelter overhead, which are required services for the county, are anticipated to surpass county funding. Additionally, caring for cats and kittens receives no county funding because felines are classified as "wildlife" in the state of Ohio.
Our leadership team is committed to raising the bar, and to raising the funds needed, to provide the best possible care for the animals in our county. All funds raised through this campaign are fully tax deductible as allowed by law, and every penny received will go toward animal care and bettering the lives of animals in Clermont County.
