More than 3.4 million people die each year from water-, sanitation-, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world.
In the Luangwa Valley, local communities are growing rapidly in size, and the majority of villagers still have no convenient access to safe, clean water.
Clean, safe water is right under their feet. Borehole drilling is a permanent solution to a problem that is costing people their lives. This is not such a difficult task, but it does require funding and organization.
With help from its generous partners, Dazzle Africa has fully funded 11 boreholes. We are $2,000 away from fully funding borehole #12.
Any amount will help the village of Mfuwe get closer to another source of clean water!
