The Claremont High School Chapter of Unicef Club was founded this school year in 2019 by a group of juniors who were eager to help out children in both the local community and worldwide. We focus on donating as much as we can to UNICEF in efforts to improve the quality of life for children all around the world.
At the CHS Unicef Club, we aim to advocate for the pressing issues that children are going through in our society today. Among these issues are hunger, violence, sexual assault, domestic abuse, homelessness, lack of education, being misplaced and a number of other very serious issues. This school year we had planned to participate in large advocacy events to raise awareness for children in crises, and hoped to work with local businesses to raise money and awareness for children, however our plans fell short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so now we are using this platform to raise the money necessary in order to improve the lives of children across the globe.
Every donation that is made will make a huge impact on children, and don't forget every dollar counts. All funds will be donated automatically to UNICEF.
