AGE Africa’s scholars walk a triathlon-length distance every week just to attend school.
The distance to school, along with other factors, is what prevents young women in Malawi from completing their education.
In fact, only 6% of women in Malawi graduate from high school.
AGE Africa scholars are different: thanks to our programs and partnerships within each community we serve, 98% of AGE Africa scholars graduate high school and more than 65% go on to receive some form of post-secondary education.
With your help, every dollar I raise will provide life-changing opportunities to even more disadvantaged young women in Malawi, allowing AGE Africa to continue to provide targeted initiatives in education, mentoring, and leadership development.
Join in supporting AGE Africa and the scholars by making a donation of your choice:
• $25 buys a scholar’s uniform
• $50 provides her school supplies
• $100 gives her a bicycle to get to school faster
• $250 sponsors a scholar in our life skills program
• $500 pays a scholar’s school tuition for a year
Thank you so much for your generosity and for helping make education a reality for young women in Malawi!
